Hugh Hendry: The humbling of a fallen fund “star”

Posted by helen.brown on September 20, 2017

This is my favourite read of the day.

It’s by Simon English in the London Evening Standard and it’s about the demise of Hugh Hendry, a “star” hedge fund manager who has crashed to earth in rather spectacular fashion.

It’s brilliantly written and encapsulates the lack of humility and basic self-awareness of so many of those paid a fortune to manage other people’s money.
